My RESUME
On May 2, 2011 I visited the Career Services Center located on the second floor of the Union at ESU. I was instructed to bring my resume with me. A link to my resume appears above. I feel that it is important to stress the signifigance of having your resume reviewed. Having your resume reviewed by a professional provides you with valuable insight, and constructive criticisim. Although I felt that my resume was professional looking and listed my relevent work skills and experience; it needed some revision. After hearing the advice given to me, I was sure I could make the necessary corrections needed to make my resume stand out and get noticed by potential employers, and look professional.
I suggest all seniors go to Career Services, and have their resume reviewed. They also have many other services and packets of information that can assist us with gaining employment, such as: writing cover letters, Job Choices brochures, interview advice, top questions recruiters ask at interviews etc.
